The impeachment, Representative Beau LaFave introduced House Resolution 324 of 2020 (HR 324) on November 18, 2020. It has since been referred to the House Committee on Government Operations.
If passed through the Michigan House of Representatives, this resolution would impeach Governor Gretchen Whitmer on the grounds of exceeding her constitutional authority and issuing orders not based on the best interests of people in our state. After passing through the House, it would then be tried by the Michigan Senate, with three house members prosecuting and the Michigan Supreme Court chief justice presiding. To be convicted in the Senate, it would require a two-thirds majority to remove her from office. In a statement on the same day it was introduced, both Speaker of the House Chatfield and Senate Leaders Shirkey said they have no plans to proceed with this resolution

DeleteWhen are the Representatives back in session to hear this and why would they not plan to proceed with the resolution? Why wouldn't Chatfield and Shirkey, both Republicans, stand up and represent the business owners in the great State of Michigan? I am surely hoping that they are seeking employment someplace because "we the people" hope that they don't get re-elected. It is their obligation to make sure that the Michiganian's are represented and taken care of.
Who can we contact to take care of this for us if these two (2) won't?

You have to remember, she was voted into office during a time when the Flint water crisis was going on with our last governor and the Michigan roads were is such disrepair that the people were getting sick and tired of all the potholes and expensive auto repairs from hitting a pothole. People were disgusted with our governor and she provided a fresh take on things, she knew how to play the American people and a lot of them sad to say even the GOP fell for her line of BS. I did not vote for her but I did come close to voting for her "Let's fix the damn roads" line. She was good at playing the game and telling the people what they wanted to hear. Now her true colors comes out along with all the other evil and not right in the head radical leftist. If these people get into office it's going to be the Holocaust for Americans and Christians as well as the Jews all over again. These people are narcissistic running our country, they have no heart and no soul. They belong to Satan and serve him, worship him and carry out his works. She has no feeling about her own family, her children, her own parents any one. She would sell them out and put them in the line of fire to be shot to death if it interfered with her plans.
